Almost Perfect

Bad knees makes bending down to put on class 3 compression stockings very difficult. This makes it much easier. Stockings are easy to load onto the aid (much easier if you use Sigvaris gloves but not essential) but since my stockings are open toed, needed a bit of experimentation to get the start position right. I know the guidance says the heel of the stocking should be at the top of the aid funnel but for me, the instep part of the stocking needs to be there otherwise, the stocking will not fit me properly. Biggest problem for me is a have a very wide calf and even with the large version of the aid, it is still not wide enough to pull the stocking up my leg.

However, what it does really well for me is to get the stocking fitted properly over the heel (the hardest part) and up to just over the ankle bone. I then just need to pull the stocking up which relatively easy. Overall, the aid is a bit expensive, but well made and the best product I have used (and I have used a lot of different aids over the years) and now wouldn't be without it. had the most competitive price and were quick to deliver - can't fault their service. Now if only Sigvaris made a wider version of the aid it would be perfect and would get 5 stars.
