Who Can Use the JOBST For Men Ambition Compression Stockings?

The JOBST Ambition Compression Stockings are specially tailored to suit the anatomy of the male leg. For those who want effortless style, comfort and hygiene management from their socks in addition to effective compression therapy, the Ambition Range is the best option on the market.

What Conditions Are the JOBST Ambition Compression Stockings Suitable For?

The JOBST Ambition Compression Stockings have a Class 2 compression class, and can therefore be used to treat a range of mild to moderate venous and lymphatic conditions. These indications are listed below.

Indications

The JOBST Ambition Compression Stockings are suitable for the following applications and conditions:

  • Chronic leg pain or fatigue
  • Varicose veins
  • Swelling caused by mild oedema
  • Alongside certain surgical procedures (e.g. sclerotherapy)
  • To aid in the treatment of orthostatic or postural hypotension

Why Should You Choose the JOBST Compression Stockings for Men?

  • Stylish compression stockings for the calves resembling dress socks
  • Anatomically tailored with heel pocket to suit the shape of the male body
  • Broad knee welt prevents the stockings from wrinkling or sliding down your leg
  • Specially designed toe area alleviates pressure to prevent discomfort
  • Flat seams help to significantly reduce irritation during long periods of wear
  • High quality cotton material is soft and gentle against the skin
  • Odour-control technology combats odour and perspiration

How Do the JOBST Compression Stockings Work?

Fatigue, swelling and conditions affecting your veins or lymphatic system can develop when blood does not properly circulate in your body. To alleviate this, the JOBST knee high compression stockings apply pressure to your legs with increasing intensity from your upper leg to your ankle.

What Colour Are These Stockings?

These stockings have a dark grey colour, great for pairing with both professional and casual outfits. This range also includes a number of other colours including black, brown and khaki.

How Do These Stockings Prevent Odour?

When a piece of clothing is tight-fitting, it can lead to perspiration, odour and general discomfort. However, the JOBST Ambition stockings for men have been specially treated with charged carbon particles to prevent this.

Is It Easy to Put These Stockings On?

As they are made to fit so closely to the skin, compression stockings can be a bit difficult to put on. However, due to their soft yarns and natural cotton composition, the JOBST Ambition Stockings can be slid on and off without any trouble at all.

How Comfortable Are These Compression Stockings?

Compression stockings don't have to cause any discomfort despite their snug-fitting design. Made from soft natural cotton, the JOBST knee high compression stockings for men are incredibly comfortable, so you'll barely notice them treating your legs as you go about your day.

Which Level of Compression Do I Need?

These stockings have a compression level of RAL Class 2, meaning they apply 23 - 32mmHg of gradient pressure to your legs. This is considered a moderate level of compression, and the level most often prescribed by doctors. It can treat a range of mild to moderate conditions including varicose veins, mild oedema and severe fatigue.

Please speak to a healthcare professional to check if this compression level is right for you.
